2006 tables will obviously go up for '07.
"Vacation days off" are actually called "leave." These days must be requested. They are granted or denied based on needs of the service.
Unless you're on duty for a given night you're pretty much free to go "on and off base" any time save the normal workday. This time off is called "liberty." Liberty is granted nightly and on weekends for non-duty section personnel.
Some advice: Becoming a Reservist requires a commitment from you. If you're up in the air don't make the commitment just yet. It requires you attend boot camp for a couple of months. If I were you I'd think it over for a time, visit a nearby unit, ask lots of questions, then mull it over some more. Once you're fairly certain this is the commitment you want to make then contact a recruiting office.
