I'm assuming that 'A' school orders show up in Direct Access.

In Direct Access, do I go to the Employee> View> My CGHMRS Orders?

This is the only area I can assume they would be.

Any info is appreciated.

Any rhyme or reason to when they are usually issued as far as days of the week, time of month, etc? Or is it completely random?

Like many things in the CG, There is no rhyme or reason that I have been able to figure out!

Your command will have them, as well as your e-mail

Make sure that your email is correct in Direct Access. If it is, you will receive an email notification when they are posted.

My son-in-law is on the AST list, but his airman report date is Sept, 5th. The report date he got seems to correspond to the AMT list? Your orders may still be coming for the Oct 10th list for the next AST class beginning in Feb. If you do get orders to report by Oct. 10th you may be in my son-in-laws class.

If all is running smoothly, orders are issued 14 weeks prior to a class starting date. It depends on the detailer that handles that "A" School account. They can be issued in the beginning of the week, middle, or end of the week. More in favor of the end of the week (Thurs-Fri), since SPO's ussually check on Mondays to see who received orders. That's when the good news is passed on to the member. That or if you check you profile in DA to see if you received orders.

Does the 'Airport Terminal' receive your orders prior to the member getting them in their DA account?

Basically, as soon the orders are created & approved, they generate a TONO for you to travel on. The actual orders are created and approved in Direct Acess. So as soon as that happens (takes less than a second) before they show up in the airport terminal and in your page where you view your own orders. Hope this makes sense...

I forgot to mention, the 3 aviation ratings run a little bit differently (schedule wise)since you have the 4 month long aviation program involved before "A" School. It looks like your in good standing so far just depending on how many people get cleared ahead of you before the next class.
