    My recruiter said he sent in my paperwork for a reservation. How long will it be until I hear anything? He told me he put me down to ship Oct 12th but thats not guaranteed. So what is the average time frame after info is sent to hear a confirmation/ship date? Thanks for the great forum!

    Brad,

    Sometimes answers are received in 24 hours, sometimes it takes a week plus. With boot camp having been under such a tight freeze & now it suddenly opening back up, they are going to have a lot of requested reservations to get through. The best advice, hang tight. Your recruiter will call you as soon as he has a solid answer for you. Good luck! Remember in the military... hurry up & wait is the norm in life.

    You will know as soon as your recruiter knows. The department that handles reservation requests is swamped this time of year. Just be patient.
