Is there a list of the approved Red Cross classes for First Aid. Tried to sign up locally, but there are a number of courses, and the instructor isn't sure which one(s) are on the approved list. This is for a Masters license, though I'm curious if the same class can be used for STCW down the road.
Thanks,
CaptainEd

If you go to the NMC Website, they have posted the schools and courses that are approved, I teach at New England Maritime, we offer First Aid CPR for both the Masters Course and STCW, these courses are not one in the same, contact teh schools that are offering it for the difference. |

look for "Basic first aid plus adult CPR/AED, Child CPR/AED, and Infant CPR." That's through the red cross. |
