    I'm having my recommendation letters written currently and was approached to see who they need to be addressed to.
    I would say USCG review board?

    They can be addressed to the Board itself, The Recruiter, The Recruiting office, or as a last ditch "to whom it may concern" We are not as much worried about who it is addressed to, rather the content. I would make the suggestion to get more than three recommendations to your recruiter.
    I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted Coastie, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.

    Thanks for the information. Some are sticklers for details. I certainly have more than 3 letters being written so that I can present multiple point of views.

    I would only submit three letters, as that is what is required in the application packet. Being that you have more than three being written, I would select the best three from that group for submission.

    Why do I suddenly have the feeling that hdblue is not from the US and is trying to sell poorly written recomendation templates? The grammar in the posts and on the website link he/she posted is horrible. Very similar to the context used when English is not their first language.
