The minimum for the CG is about 75 but most recruiters like to see 80 & higher. Best of luck! Study, study, study and then just take a day or two off before the test. Let yourself relax a little. If you keep on studying until the second you walk through the testing doors, you will just psyche yourself out and that will do no good. So just stay calm and you'll be fine.

The Kaplan book has been said to be a good one to study as well.

Go in shooting for a 100 knowing that anything else is unacceptable...that always helps motivate my fire recruits when I tell them that...lol

Old Guard has been giving great advice all day I would really listen to her.

That one has also been highly recommended...I would suggest reading it and understanding it thoroughly then maybe hitting the library to look over the Kaplan and maybe compare or look over the different questions...

The main thing is to get an understanding of what the ASVAB is testing over and being comfortable and relaxed when testing because you are confident, that is when the best scores come out to play!

The manual sets a minimum of a 45. Each recruiting office wants to keep a high average (70 or above). Study as hard as you can, so that you are prepared for your re-test.
