    Earlier this year, I was notified that I was not accepted into this year's SRDC class. I have since then enlisted and I am going to DEPOT in a little over a week. When I get back from DEPOT, I will be working on completing my package again to submit for SRDC. My question is, is there anything else that someone can tell me I might need to improve my "image" in front of the selection board? Here is basically a run down of what my package looks like.

    1. MST E-4 2. Have an MBA (3.92 GPA) 3. 5+ Successful years in Business Development for a Fortune 200 company 4. Letters of Recommendation from a retired O-5 and an Active O-3 in the USCG 5. Scored 93 on ASVAB 6. Interview Board one point short of a perfect score 7. 28 years old (many years to serve)

    The above is not everything, but the things I think are most important in there.

    Would a letter from a member of the U.S. Congress help?

    Any advice is greatly appreicated!
