Hey Cali Kid.  I am shipping the same day.  The fact that you just put, "Kid" makes me feel old... as I am 25!  ugh.  And I hope you have thick skin of you're coming from California.  However, it was chilly while I was there in February.

Congratulations! Ya I'm pretty young I'm only 20. I'm from Nor Cal the winters are chilly but nothing like NJ I'm sure we only have maybe 3-8nights a winter were it gets below freezing. Where are you shipping from? Any idea what are company name could be?

I went from Clearlake all the way down to Los Angeles in February. For someone who never travels, it was very pretty... despite what I had previously stated to my uncle out there. I retract my statement. Yeah, I am not ready for that weather! I am currently in Kentucky where I went to grad school and am currently working. I'll be moving back to Indiana in October though. I haven't heard anything on the name. I was wondering that myself. By the way, I'm Sara.

I'm shipping out that day aswell from midcoast Maine. I'm pretty excited, how about you two? Also I imagine we'll hear about our company/s (Don't really know how those things are decided)  name/s after we arrive.

I have a friend who went in back in March. She knew her company's name before she left. Perhaps... maybe not. Hoe are you coming along on your Helmsman and physical preparation? I am absolutely terrified. Being the oldest and slowest is not in my vocab. Hope all is well in Maine!

Thank you, well I don't think I'm doing alright with the helmsman, but as for a physical preparation. I feel that I need to work on my running a bit ( I definitely don't want to be the slowest either!) Things in Maine are very well, I'm very glad to have a shipment day in the fall , I was worried that I might get it during the summer heat. What rates are you two wanting to get? I'm trying to decide between ME and BM.

That's great! Those are good rates. I am indecisive at the moment, but really believe that I want HS. I just want to have the patience to hold out that long. haha. Otherwise I may go OS. All of this non-rate talk has me worried. I need to work on the push-ups! My legs can handle it (for the most part) now my arms .... eeek. I do not have the 13 general orders memorized. I've been so busy!
I signed this morning. There are 5 of us (3 female, 2 male) shipping from Louisville the same day. Let's hope some of us end up together! I'm dreading the east coast winter. I do not hear good things.

Cape May winters are warmer than Bowling Green and with much less snow, but it will be windier.

That's awesome. Nice to meet you all.  I am excited about going but am also terrified!  I wanted to go HS, but when I went to swear in last week the recruiter said I need to go OCS ASAP (well, when picked up).... so I'm guessing OS is going to be my route. It was a toss up between OS and HS from the beginning anyway.  I hear MST is awesome.  The Chief at my recruiters office is MST.

Thanks!  I'm still somewhat old. haha.  However, another shipping out Nov. 16th from the area just turned 26.  Perhaps this is a wise choice on our part.  Yeah .... I'm from Indiana and have seen the ocean three times in my life.  I've only put my toes in it twice.... I guess we'll see how it goes.
