It depends on the office, My office requires (as do most) that you are in the hotel the night before ship, that way delays in traffic etc wont cause you to miss your ship date. Plan on the MEPS hotel monday night and get with your recruiter to be sure!

My office requires you in the hotel the night before as well. It decreses the chance of you being late on Tuesday morning, and losing your ship date.

By the way, this is formerly "Cooch".

Colin shipped out of Dallas and he had to be in the hotel Monday night. Once he checked in we went out for dinner and his recruiter said since he was with me, it was ok if he came back a little late. But we made sure he was back long before curfew time. We went to MEPS Tuesday morning to see him sworn in and ship out from there. He was required to be in the hotel though, to answer your question.

Have a safe drive down from Memphis! Bring some ribs from Corky's! LOL

britt also had to report to the motel monday night and was allowed to have dinner with us. we got our own room and then went to see her swear in and ship out the next day. i think it is all pretty standard operating procedure.

My son had to be there Sunday night- we went down Monday morning to see him swear in and he had the rest of the day free until curfew and checking back in the hotel Monday night. But here (AL) it was Sunday.

Well, IF that happens, I won't mind making a new account one bit lol. That would be the least of my worries! Still have to wait a few weeks for the profile letters and eligibility list to come out. Based on the current scores and stats compiled by the SK network, I'm sitting somewhere around #17. We'll see if that holds up though. If not, I'll roll the dice on a CWO package.
