    I was wondering if it is possible to switch from active duty to reserve while still in an enlistment? The coast guard for awhile was letting people out of there contracts with honorable discharges. During this time they also let people latteral over to the reserves is this still a possibility?

    I believe that was a limited time opportunity. I don't think it is available anymore. Check with your command, they will know an answer for sure.
