    Anyone here ever been affiliated with PSU 305?  I am trying to land a billet at the PSU and was wondering what the group was like.

    I leave for DEPOT Oct 17th, graduating on Nov 5th. I went out a few weeks ago to meet the PSU 305 - as that is the unit I will be reporting to. Everyone I met seemed nice and very motivated. I'm not very sure if this minimal info helps, but I look forward to being there!

    PSU 305 is a great unit! You will get a chance to travel to exotic places and do things that many members of the Coast Guard wil never get a chance to see or do!

    That's what I am hoping. Some people think I am crazy for specifically requesting a billet at a deploying unit. What's life without adventure? Billet request went up to Recruiting Command yesterday for BM @ PSU 305 so my fingers are crossed.
